Don't Pass + Lay Odds
Method: Bet the minimum on Don't Pass. After the point, lay odds against it. You need more on the Odds side because you're laying instead of taking.

Risk: Low. Combined edge is 0.27%-0.69% depending on odds multiplier. Slightly better math than Pass + Odds.

Betting the center of the table
Proposition bets (Any 7, Hardways, Horn, Any Craps) have house edges from 9% to 16.67%. On $10 center bets at 100 rolls/hour, you lose $90-$167/hour. The center of the table is where the casino makes its money on craps.
Ignore the center completely. Stick to Pass/Don't Pass + Odds, Come bets, and Place 6/8. Those five bets are all you need.
Not taking maximum odds
The Odds bet is the only bet in the casino with zero house edge. Skipping it or betting less than the max means you're leaving value on the table. A $5 Pass Line bet at 1.41% costs $7.05/hour at 100 rolls. Add 5x odds and the blended edge drops to 0.37%.
